In 2014 I started in the insurance industry in the Medicare space as an independent broker. In May of 2022, I got an opportunity to open a brick and mortar location to help train agents and service customers locally.
At Acadiana Insurance Advisors we educate our clients on Individual Health Insurance and Medicare options. We help apply for Medicare and Medicaid if needed, as well as, shop for plans available in the community that fits the customers healthcare and financial needs. Then help our customers enroll in those plans and maintain contact to make sure their plan is still the right fit in the future.
Krisitie Buford
Founder of Acadiana Insurance Advisors, a native of Franklin, LA, Graduate of USL (Now University of LA Lafayette) in Speech, Language and Hearing Specialist. Before becoming a licensed insurance agent in 2014, I worked as a medical sales representative for an infusion pharmacy and home health agency for 8 years.
Currently I live in Maurice, LA with my husband and 2 kids and enjoy being a soccer and football mom. Since 2014 I have helped hundreds of families have financial and medical security by helping them select the best plans that fit their needs for Medicare, Individual Under 65 insurance, Life, Cancer/HS, Dental and more. In April of 2022 I decided to open Acadiana Insurance Advisors office, for people to have a place to come and have a secure environment to review their insurance with a knowledgeable, caring broker. I truly feel this is my calling in life to help seniors navigate the confusion of Medicare!
Michelle Crouch
My name is Michelle Beaullieu Crouch and I am a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. I decided to become an
insurance agent when I realized how confusing the Medicare world can be. I love meeting people and
helping them find their best fit for medical insurance as they reach 65 as well as plans for individuals and
families under 65.

Dawn Gonsoulin
My name is Dawn Gonsoulin, native of Franklin, LA. I attended Nicholls State University and graduated in Marketing. I then stayed in the Houma, LA area for many years. There I successfully owned and operated a Lawn and Landscape business for 15+ years. About 8 years ago, I decided I wanted to be closer to my family. So, I moved to Lafayette.
I am also a local, licensed independent insurance agent helping people navigate the tricky process of Medicare and Individual and Family health insurance. I offer a no cost personal service to you to make sure you have the best coverage for your needs; whether it is for individual and family health insurance, Medicare, life insurance, Cancer, Critical Illness, Dental, Hospital Indemnity and many more.
